A Journey of Hope Through Scripture and Community
1 in 3 refugees worldwide has experienced deep trauma.
Yet for many displaced communities, mental health support is limited.
Healing is possible—through a Christ-centered, community-based approach.
With over 485,000 new permanent residents arriving in Canada each year, many come from trauma-affected backgrounds. Caring for Wounded Hearts equips churches, organizations, and individuals to create safe, welcoming spaces for healing and restoration.
Caring for Wounded Hearts is a Bible-based trauma healing program that helps people process deep emotional and spiritual wounds. Through story-driven learning, participatory discussions, and supportive community, participants find a safe place to face pain caused by war, violence, natural disasters, displacement, and abuse.
Developed for oral learners and multicultural communities, the program is both accessible and adaptable—ideal for refugees, immigrants, and those serving in cross-cultural ministry.
