Intercultural Discovery
The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and Intercultural Conflict Style Inventory (ICS) are evaluation tools that aid in self-reflection and discovery, creating the potential for development of intercultural fluency.
The Intercultural Development Inventory (IDI) and debrief with a Qualified Administrator (QA) helps ministry leaders/pastors and volunteers who want to become more welcoming of diverse community members both inside their church/ministry and in the wider community around them for outreach. The validated psychometric inventory assesses individuals’ and groups’ mindset towards cultural differences and similarities, giving a measure of how ‘culturally adaptive others’ truly experience them, as well as a measure of how you think they come across. The inventory can be debriefed with both groups (church leadership, ministry teams, etc.) and individuals.
The Intercultural Conflict Style inventory (ICS) helps individuals working on intercultural ministry teams learn their own personal and cultural mode of conflict, providing them with greater awareness of both self and others. Debriefing can help give greater reflection to past misunderstandings and prepare for improved conflict resolution.
